Joyce has in excess of  30 years experience in dealing with the most complex of children matters. Representing all parties including parents, other adults, and, as a member of the Law Society Children Panel, she receives instructions from court appointed Childrens Guardians and the Official Solicitor. 

She represents both publicly funded and privately paying clients. 

Her aim is to ensure the best possible outcome for any client. She understands that legal process and court proceedings can be frightening and will always do her best to explore other options before recommending court proceedings as a course of action. She is mindful of the expense throughout for private clients of pursuing any legal action.

No client or service provided is the same and each is tailored to the needs of the client. 

For those clients that are not privately funded Hitchman & Co has a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to provide Legal Aid in respect of children matters. 

Joyce is familiar with Local Authorities process and procedures relating to children and can offer advice to any family who find themselves involved with social services. 

Where parents have received a letter advising them they are in the Public Law Outline process all advice and representation is provided free of charge.
